Which do you agree with most, globalization of everything including the economy and architects or localization? Some people think that architecture is deeply rooted in every culture. In your opinion does the loss of a culture cause the loss of the vernacular architecture (it could be looked at vice versa)?

I would agree with a medium leaning towards localization. I think that if we let vernacular architecture and local crafts to die then a group of people is loosing a bit of it's history and uniqueness that is their contribution to the whole melting pot of exchanged ideas of the world. I think it depends on the situation for which could be lost first, the culture or the architecture, but I do think that there is a strong correlation between the two that one could not exist with out the other.
